As I come to the end of my informal vacation, I reflect on the workflows and procedures I’ve developed to improve my productivity. I used to worry that I’d collapse into a shapeless blob without the structure provided by regular corporate employment. I’ve been practicing sculpture and casting techniques to keep myself occupied while I recover from oral surgery. It’s a nice break but I’m slowly recharging my creative batteries for a final push on my iPhone game. Just now I was reading TVTropes.org and the webcomic Questionable Content when Safari crashed. Surprisingly, my serenity was only disturbed for a moment. The ripples have spread and the pool is again calm.
